From the time tickets are purchased until the doors close after an event, the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center's staff strives to ensure fairness, enforce safety precautions and provide an enjoyable atmosphere to all patrons. As a result, the below policies are strictly enforced.
All guests shall remain respectful of their fellow patrons and comply with requests from WY&CC staff regarding policies, emergency response procedures and behavior that affects the event experience of fellow spectators. The WY&CC reserves the right to remove any guest for any reason.
For questions about any of the following policies or information, call the box office at 410-548-4911. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
For the majority of shows, children of all ages are required to purchase tickets to concerts and family shows. This rule exists to comply with fire code regulations and to ensure the comfort of all patrons. Some shows make a lap ticket available for children under a certain age who do not require their own seat. Check with the box office at 410-548-4911.
Contact the box office for assistance with lost tickets.
Fees apply to all tickets sold through the WY&CC box office and assist in offsetting the cost of the venue’s ticket provider (Tix.com) and credit card processing. In addition, the Wicomico County Council created a 5 percent restoration fee in 2008 with the purpose of preserving the longevity of the WY&CC.
Patrons may purchase a maximum of eight tickets to each show at the box office, online or by phone. A promoter may make group tickets available.
The WY&CC will not issue exchanges or refunds on tickets purchased at the box office, online or over the phone. In the case of a show cancellation or postponement, contact the box office for more information.
All tickets purchased are for personal use and cannot be resold. The WY&CC reserves the right to cancel and refund any ticket orders placed inappropriately.
Tickets purchased online five days or fewer before a show may be held at Will Call until the night of the show. The person who placed the order must present photo identification at pick-up. Will Call is located at the box office or, in some cases, adjacent to it. Look for relevant signage upon entry to the WY&CC.
TOPClear bags are permitted, but may not exceed 13”x4”x13”.
Solid clutches/purses/wallets are permitted, but may not exceed 4.5”x6.5”.

All bags will be searched.
Emergency medical services personnel are at the WY&CC during events. If a guest needs first aid, contact an event staff member. The first aid office is on the first floor near the event staff office. In case of emergency, call 911.
The WY&CC can remove any guest that is a threat to themselves or others. Examples of reasons for removal include intoxication, disorderly conduct, drug use and sexual harassment. Guests who are removed will not be allowed to reenter the building.
Guests entering the WY&CC are subject to screening for prohibited items. Screenings can include visual inspection, bag search, screenings by a magnetometer (metal detector) and pat-down search. Guests who refuse searches will not be allowed into the WY&CC. In order to allow time for searches, guests are asked to arrive at least 60-90 minutes prior to the event.
Wicomico County Sheriff's Office deputies are on-site for most large concerts and events at the WY&CC.
In the case of a lost child or adult, contact an event staff member.
In addition to all items listed elsewhere in the policies, guests are not permitted to bring the following items into the building:

Outside food and drinks are not permitted at the WY&CC. Guests with health concerns or allergies should call the WY&CC in advance.
During events, any recovered items can be picked up at the guest services booth. For post-event lost items, guests can call 410-548-4900 the next business day between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Do not come to the WY&CC in person prior to calling, as the lost item may not be readily accessible. The WY&CC is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged personal items.
There is no fee for parking at the WY&CC for most concerts/events. Guests may park in the lots adjacent to or across from the WY&CC. The WY&CC is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items in the parking lots.
